Insulation

The problem here was a cold off shot kitchen with a door to the rest of the house that felt somewhat detached and unsociable. I removed the doorway and widened the opening with steel lintels. The kitchen itself was stripped back to the brick, insulated  on the walls and ceiling, then boarded and skimmed. Now they have a warm, sociable, stylish space and are reducing their carbon emissions and saving them money on their energy bills. I also plastered around the chimney breast to leaving the brickwork exposed at the back to make a nice focal point for the lounge.

Matt and his team were extremely polite and knowledgeable about their work. I felt completely at ease about having them in my home whilst I was at work and on my return I was pleased to see the progress and to see that they had cleaned up. The work was completed to a very high standard with any snags or problems along the way overcome with honesty and professionalism.
